Welcome to my Page

Meet our seasoned geologist, whose journey began with a Bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in 1979 and a Master’s thesis in geology from Eastern Kentucky University. With two semesters in paleontology, the author joined the US Department of Labor MSHA in 1980, serving as a geologist and coal-mine inspector for 28 years.
